31 – Regardless of the timeframe, if you wanted to do something, whether to gain or lose weight, don’t wait for the new year, do it now. It’s a long-term battle. Look for a lifestyle change and grow within yourself to change the habits that have been established over time.
10 – If you develop the habit of going to the gym daily, it’ll be like clockwork. It becomes a part of your daily routine, something that you cannot do without, and that is something that you need to focus on. You should develop that discipline by starting small actions that will lead to massive changes in your life.
56 – One way to do that is by tweaking your diet daily. Have yourself begin to grow into these habits by small changes.
41 – Find someone to be accountable to; it can be a personal trainer or a friend who would help you weigh weekly and monthly and see how your progress comes along. You can invest in a treadmill. If you can’t, then you can walk around your home. If you are in the office, take the stairs instead of the elevator. These are the little things that you can do.
09 – You can have a simple or ambitious lifestyle. Whichever path you take in, there will be challenges, and finances will always be an issue.
28 – One of the most straightforward solutions is to work more than one job. You can do that now, even during the pandemic where a lot of remote work is possible. It will be exhausting and not something that I would recommend but do it if you want to fulfill your goals, resolve some financial issues, college fund for your kids or if you’re going to do something later. You will make sacrifices.
48 – Develop your side hustles. Leverage your skills and talents. We all have gifts, and it now the time to explore and cultivate that. You might be an expert in writing, lead generation, sales, or audience building in social media. Remember to start small leverage your network in your friends and family.
15 – You can go to Upwork or Fiverr, where a lot of work can be done online. Fiverr is good for some small one-time projects, while Upwork can do the same, it can provide long-term contracts.
08 – You can become a streamer. It can be a gaming stream, arts and crafts stream, or educational. Although it takes time to develop a following, you can make money through advertisement or affiliate marketing.
36 – You can become a driver. If you are going to the city daily, you can augment your expenses by taking passengers that go along your daily route. You can also do services like food delivery to extend it even further.
54 – You can flip items of intrinsic value. Find items in-demand online, negotiate, purchase for a low price, and then sell them at a higher price. If you are excellent at carpentry works, you can look for things to be given away, fix them then sell them online.
22 – Be mentally prepared. Spend time thinking about the sacrifices that you would need to make because this is a treacherous path. You will be battered with criticisms, and it’s not fun.
34 – Look for mentors. They are the people that you can bring into your network and your career. If you are a worker, ask them how they got into the position they are in. Otherwise, if you are an entrepreneur, ask for recommendations on your ideas.
53 – Be strategic with your networking. Find the people you need to meet as quickly as possible and hone them in your network.
43 – You don’t want to go in blindly. It will be a big sacrifice, and it will take a lot of your time. If you are an entrepreneur or aspiring to be one, you will have a less social life. Some people are idealistic and ask why we can’t have it all; the truth is, we can’t have it all.
[5:06 – 5:10] – “You need to think long-term; life is a game of inches after all.”
[29:18 – 29:20] -“Something will be sacrificed to achieve that goal.”
